Since 1997, I have taken it upon myself to maintain this web site in effort to provide viewers with a moderately comprehensive online source for gas mask information, history and photographs. This task however, has become somewhat overwhelming at times. What started out as a small, single page web site with only a few pictures and a little text, has grown into a multi-layered online sourcebook for gas mask history, collecting and reference. Through all of this, I hope that my work will somehow payoff, and provide to those who seek it, the answers they need about this much forgotten area of military history.
