Just a quick update about LMàG. NFP has moved operations to Reno, NV. I have a few new things to add, but I need to construct a new photo booth and also finish unpacking. Hopefully, I will have a new update within the next month or so. Be sure to note our new contact information here. |

I have added HTML anchors to all of the masks in THE GAS MASK DATABASE. This allows me to link LMàG REFERENCE CODES directly to specific masks. I will be using this to make viewing new masks easier. So when you see a LMàG REFERENCE CODE in the NEWS you will be able to click on it to go directly to the respective mask. Also for this update, I have added an Italian SIP mask (IT-030), a Czech SM-1
(CZ-025), and a British Civilian Duty Respirator with the special microphone and headset (UK-037). I also corrected some information about the two modified US ND Mark III masks in the collection (US-046 and US-132) and added what I believe to be an actual US ND Mark IV shallow water diving mask (US-131). |
02/14/2006
Added a Yugoslavian OZ M-2 (YU-007), a French Fernez (FR-025) and a French Securit (FR-026) to the DATABASE. |
02/01/2006
Fixed a few minor errors on the ITALY page of the DATABASE. |
01/28/2006
A DETAILS page was added for the US MI-I-5 Optical Gas Mask (US-041). Also, a Russian PDF-2D (RU-053) was added to the RUSSIA: CIS page of the database. |
01/23/2006
A DETAILS page was added for the US Connel Gas Mask (US-007) and the NEWS page was reformatted. |
01/10/2006
An Italian Penna Respirator (IT-029) was added to the ITALY page of the GAS MASK DATABASE and a few corrections were made here and there. Also, the LMàG FORUM has been removed until further notice. This is due to some security holes in phpBB that allow spam robots to make unwanted posts to the forum. The LMàG FORUM will remain down until I have time to find a fix for the phpBB problem. |

Well, it has been some time since Le Masque à Gaz has had any sort of update. This is partly due to the fact that I have been very busy over the past couple years, with little time to spend on my various web projects. In addition, I had made the decision some time ago to completely re-photograph my entire collection (again), which turned out to be a very time consuming task. But, things are more stable now and recently I have had the time to really concentrate on finishing the entire site. This section (NEWS) will be updated as frequently as possible to help regular viewers access updated areas quicker. One major change to watch for is in THE GAS MASK DATABASE. Be sure to look for the DETAILS icon like the one below:

DETAILS
If you click this icon you will be taken to a page full of close-ups and extras related to the respective mask. Not all masks have a DETAILS page, but I will gradually add more as time permits and list these updates here in the NEWS section. I have also added a LMàG REFERENCE CODE to every mask in the database. This was added to make it easier for me to locate masks while they are in storage, but it may also be useful for viewers who would like to reference a particular mask when asking questions. Another notable change is the addition of the FORUM section. For more information about the Le Masque à Gaz Forum, please see the Forum's General Discussion.
Probably the most exciting update yet, is the addition of the the MASK SALE section. This section will be an entry point for the sale of a large collection of gas masks and related items via Bell's Aviation. For more information, please check the MASK SALE section. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to purchase some very nice masks for your collection!
Thanks for reading, and enjoy all the new stuff!
